It was a dreary Saturday morning on November 1^st.  Luckily inside Rafferty Subaru it was warm (and fuzzy).  Mainline Animal Rescue brought cats and dogs to visit.  They came hoping to find a new “fur”ever home to go to.  It was wonderful seeing all the animals and having the customers get to pet and play with them.  Customers brought in their rescue dogs to visit us, too!

During the month of September, Rafferty Subaru pledged to donate one winter coat to a child in need for each vehicle sold. This was in conjunction with a number of other dealerships in the area and with the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation. Now that school is back in session, our morning commutes are once again impeded by school buses full of children on their way to be filled with knowledge. Getting caught behind a school bus that stops frequently and drives slowly can be a pain, but it's important to remember that the laws were created this way in order to keep kids safe.

Rafferty Subaru is proud to be a participant in the Driving Away the Cold program through the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation. The Rafferty family will be teaming up with local dealers to provide needy children in our community with warm coats for the winter. For every vehicle we sell during the month of September, one coat will be donated to a child in need.
In Philadelphia, one in every six children lives below the poverty line. These children rely on community support for basic necessities like food, shelter, and warm clothing.

It is the most wonderful time of year....for parents.  Children will need to go off to bed earlier so that they are able to wake up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to go back to school!  Parents are out shopping for the new folders, pens, notebooks and flash drives to send their little darlings off to be educated.  With all the excitement of children returning to school there is something that we need to remember.
