There's still time left in April to do your part to help mother earth with the Subaru Loves the Earth Event. Throughout the month of April, Rafferty Subaru is hosting an E-Waste Recycling Event in our store to collect unwanted electronics. The first 50 customers who participated received a complimentary environmental badge of ownership.
By helping you to recycle electronic items that you don't
use, we're collectively working together to show our love for the earth by
helping to protect the environment. By responsibly recycling this E-Waste, we can
all do our part to prevent toxic compounds from entering our soil and
waterways.
The process is pretty simple - you only have to show up with
your E-Waste and we'll do the rest! We've arranged to work with a company who
will responsibly collect, re-purpose, and recycle your electronic waste, so you
can rest assured that it will not end up in a landfill somewhere.
The list of items that we can accept include: LCD monitors, cell
phones, laptops, Tablets, CRTs up to 40 inches, video games/consoles, fax machines,
DVD/VCR players, printers, computer peripherals, switches/routers, cords and wires.
There are also a number of items that we cannot accept including alkaline
batteries, lighting ballasts, kitchen appliances (blenders, toasters,
microwaves, ovens, refrigerators, etc.), light bulbs, and florescent light
tubes.
If you would like to drop off E-Waste items before it's too
late, stop by our dealership anytime during business hours before April 30,
2015. Just let one of our employees know that you would like to drop off some
items and what they are, and they will be happy to assist you.
