A Subaru oil change service replaces the oil inside your tank with a fresh supply, but it doesn’t stop there. This service package also tops off your other fluids, replaces your filters, checks your tire pressure, and inspects your vehicle. Here’s everything included in an oil change service when you book at Rafferty Subaru.
Oil and Fluid Replacements
Obviously, an oil change service includes draining your tank and replacing it with new, clean oil. Our mechanics will also replace your oil filter which will become contaminated over time. Oil isn’t the only fluid replaced during this appointment; other fluids such as coolant, wiper fluid, and brake fluid will be inspected and topped off if needed.
Tire Service
During an oil change appointment, our team will check the air pressure in all of your tires. If any tires need to be reinflated to recommended pressure, we’ll do so while your vehicle is draining its oil. You can also request a tire rotation to ensure even wear and tear across your tires; this is important to improve the lifespan of your tires and is recommended every 5,000-7,500 miles.
Multi-Point Inspection
While your vehicle is in our service bay for an oil change, we’ll inspect it to ensure that its vital systems are working properly. That includes checking your brakes, lights, belts, hoses, and suspension system. If there are any issues we can fix right away, we will; otherwise, we’ll inform you of the issue and recommend services to address them.
