What's New on the 2022 Subaru Outback?

The Outback has gathered many loyalists since its introduction in the 1990's, and Subaru always aims to grow this audience by improving advanced utility and convenience in every model.  In the past four models, the Outback has seen some significant upgrades with advances in modern technology, and the 2022 Subaru Outback is no different.

In 2018, the Subaru Outback received an upgraded interior and exterior design, as well as the addition of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality.  In 2019, Subaru's award-winning EyeSight Driver Assist technology became a standard safety feature for the Outback.  The 2020 Subaru Outback brought a redesigned cabin interior and the options for an 11.6 inch touch screen and a turbocharged engine.  In 2021, rear seat reminder and adaptive headlights became standard features for the Outback.  For the 2022 Outback, Subaru introduces the Wilderness model.

Difference Between the 2021 and 2022 Subaru Outback?

The biggest change between the 2021 and 2022 Subaru Outback models is the debut of the Wilderness trim option.  This model brings the Outback to a new level of off-road adventuring capabilities, while still maintaining the practical elements that Outback owners love.  The Wilderness model is built to navigate gravel trails, rough terrain and highways with equal skill and performance.  Along with these off-roading features, the Outback Wilderness remains a highly economical and safe vehicle, comfortable for everyday driving.  It comes in an exclusive eye-catching new color, Blue Geyser.
