2019 Subaru Ascent Positioned To Out-Pace Competition

Experts already forecast that the 2019 Subaru Ascent is positioned to out-pace its competition. Recently, there is a significant buzz about the all-new 2019 Subaru Ascent 3-Row crossover.

A vehicle that is designed solely for the American driver, the all-new 2019 Ascent 3-Row crossover is the biggest vehicle Subaru has ever built. The vehicle will be manufactured domestically, in the Subaru Indiana Automotive (SIA) plant in Lafayette, Indiana.  Even though the Ascent is not scheduled to arrive until next summer in both the U.S. and Canada, it’s received a massive push in shopper interest from the recent LA Auto Show.  According to consumer reports, the new Ascent will cost between $30,000 and $45,000 and offer room for eight as well as traditional Subaru all-weather readiness.

Shoppers who attended the auto show got a good look at Subaru’s new flagship all-wheel-drive vehicle even though it won’t be in showrooms until next summer. They also checked out the Ascent’s standard EyeSight driver assist technology, X-Mode, 8.7 inches of ground clearance, and its 72.6 cubic feet of cargo carrying ability. It’s turbocharged, 2.4-liter boxer engine produces 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. All that power is distributed to all four wheels via a high-torque CVT.  With this engine, the Ascent will tow up to 5,000 pounds as a result. Inside the vehicle, there are 19 cupholders, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, eight available USB ports, Apple CarPlay pre-installed, heated and ventilated front seats, standard rear-seat climate control and 2nd and 3rd-row sunshades at the show.  The Ascent provides busy families with rear doors that swing open up to 75 degrees for hassle-free drop-offs.

Ascent’s vehicle package and design is competition to Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, and even the Chevy Tahoe. Subaru COO Tom Doll, said that they unveiling the new Subaru model at the auto shows around the country, the family hauler will hit dealer Subaru showrooms in summer of 2018, production of the Ascent officially begins in May of 2018, and will be available to buy in mid-2018.  The Ascent is among the first round of next-generation Subaru vehicles to be built on a global platform, from its sedans and crossovers to it is gas-powered and future all-electric cars.
