Job Responsibilities:

As a Sales Manager, you will be required to provide the best in sales training, create an

exceptional buying and ownership experience for our guests, consistently achieve targeted

performance goals, and provide a professional, but fun working environment for the salespeople

and your management peers.

Specific duties for the Automotive Sales Manager include:

 Must be willing, and understand the need to, engage customers early in the sales process

 Must be committed to high CSI standards and be willing to provide the necessary training

to achieve this goal

 Must have a complete commitment to CRM usage and understand the need for customer

follow up and tracking in today's retail automotive industry

 Must be committed to creating an environment of unsurpassed customer experience.

 Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities

 Establish sales quotas, and goals for the sales team

 Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement

 Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting

 Report on team and individual performance

 Develop and execute innovative sales strategies

 Build and form new partnerships with potential clients

 Communicates management policies and procedures to all employees and ensures proper

communication

 Enforce management policies and procedures to all employees and ensures that they are

understood and followed

Specific qualifications for the Automotive Sales Manager position include:

 Minimum 3-5 years of automotive retail experience

 Minimum of 1 year new/used management experience needed

 Prior knowledge of purchasing and maintaining inventory preferred (new and/or used)

 Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

A Salesperson is responsible for selling and leasing new and used vehicles at dealership gross

profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. With control over your own salary you have the

ability to make upwards of $100,000 annually.

The ideal candidate will have general sales and customer service experience. Candidates must

demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and time management skills along with the

ability to maintain professional standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Completes Rafferty Qualification sheet, silent walk around, and demonstration drive with every

prospect.

Utilizes one the most current forms of a Rafferty Sales Proposal sheet.

Approaches, greets with standard greeting, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who

enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.

Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their

responses.

Explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.

Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.

Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification

from customer prior to test drive.

Utilizes CDK prospecting and follow-up system.

Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.

Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automotive sales.

Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity,

and devises a strategy to meet those goals.

Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.

Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers.

Ensures that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.

Turns 100 percent of closed deals to finance and insurance manager, along with properly

completed paperwork (insurance information, trade title, etc.)

Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealer

policies.

Introduces customers to service department and collision center personnel. Emphasizes to them

the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service

department and collision center.

Follows up on all post delivery items, tag/title work, "we-owes", and special requests to be sure that

all customers expectations are met.

Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes

to customer satisfaction.

Maintains a prospect development system.

Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to

better utilize time and plans more effectively.

Maintains professional appearance.

Qualifications:

Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Must have a competitive spirit.

Must have a strong work ethic.

Sales experience preferred but not necessary

Dealer Trade Driver

Job Description

WHO:  We're looking for mature, responsible individuals to help us exchange vehicles with other dealerships from time to time.

WHEN: 
This is an on-call standby position. Generally, when we need a dealer trade driver, we have very little notice and we need an immediate response. We call our most reliable drivers first. If that person is not available, we work our way down the phone list until we find someone who can drop what they're doing and come help us out.

WHAT: 
You will be responsible for collecting dealer trade paperwork from the Sales Staff, conducting a brief vehicle inspection, and driving the New Subaru to the trading partner dealer.

WHERE:  We normally trade cars locally within 50 miles. Sometimes we may have a longer trip available to Central PA, North Jersey, etc., but all trades are conducting during one business day. (Don't worry, the longer trips pay more.)

WHY: 
From time to time, we have the right customer but the wrong car. Rather than send them away, we trade our "wrong" car for the right one from another dealer. It usually happens when we run out of a certain color or equipment.

Important Notes

This is not regular work.  Dealer trades normally happen Mon-Thurs during normal working hours BUT trades could be requested at any time between 8am - 8pm, Monday thru Friday.  If you have a very open schedule and you want to make some extra money, this job could be a lot of fun for you!
